Heidi Cohen has deep experience across a variety of marketing forms acquired working with top global businesses and startups.

Heidi Cohen has created integrated, social media, content, digital and social media marketing programs across diverse product categories encompassing soft goods, regulated financial services, media, entertainment-related products, and craft-oriented offerings.

Heidi Cohen simplifies the complex concepts behind today’s evolving integrated marketing challenges for clients such as the New York Times Digital, AccuWeather.com, CheapTickets, and the UJA. Additionally, Heidi has worked with numerous other media companies and retailers.

Heidi Cohen held senior-level marketing positions at well-known global brands prior to starting Riverside Marketing Strategies. For The Economist’s online division, Heidi conceived, developed and executed an integrated online and offline global marketing strategy. At Bertelsmann’s Bookspan/Doubleday Direct division, Heidi was responsible for the online and offline marketing for six product lines, producing over one hundred promotions annually. Citibank, Heidi helped create a web-based content management system that distributed information to over twenty-five countries to support sales.

Heidi Cohen has taught graduate level marketing at a variety of universities. She creates tailored course work to meet students’ ever evolving needs in today’s dynamic social media, content and integrated marketing ecosystem. Among them are New York University, Rutgers-The State University of New Jersey and CUNY-Hunter College. Heidi received New York University’s Outstanding Service award in 2006. Also, Heidi has developed and delivered tailored corporate training.

Heidi Cohen is the Chief Content Officer of Heidi Cohen’s Actionable Marketing Blog where she provides useful strategies, tactics and tips for dealing with today’s marketing challenges. In less than two years, HeidiCohen.com was named a 2011 Top Content Marketing Blog by Junta42 and a 2012 Top Social Media Blog by Social Media Examiner. Heidi was named to the Nifty Fifty Women on Twitter as well as other top social media lists.

Heidi Cohen also writes for a variety of other publications. She’s been ClickZ’s Actionable Analysis columnist since 2004. Additionally she also writes for Content Marketing Institute and Smart Brief for Social Media.

Heidi Cohen is a popular speaker. She talks on a variety of current industry topics including social media and content marketing. In the process, she’s taught old marketers new tricks and new marketers old tricks.

Heidi Cohen received her MBA in Marketing with Honors from New York University’s Stern Graduate School of Business and her AB in Political Science with Honors from the University of Chicago.
